London Bridge & Waterloo

London Bridge is a nice area with creamy backgrounds by the River Thames, I personally love using a fast prime lens and shooting on London Bridge itself. Subject separation is a big element needed to shoot in a very populated area.

Pros:

+ Lovely backgrounds

+ Perfect for street Photography

+ Very accessible with hidden areas

Cons:

- Tourist populated area

- Prime area for thieves

- Open areas with fairly strong winds

Kensington(Chelsea)

Kensington is great area for high end commercial work, many bridal and high end fashion brands shoot in the Chelsea area. Chelsea has a grat selction of upper class retail stores, coffee shop and social activities.

+ Area feels upper class

+ Situated near iconic buildings

+ Top class restaurants and social areas

Cons:

- A niche area

- Large tourist audience

- Prime area for thieves

Shoreditch

My favourite location to capture Urban Fashion Portraits and Commercial Photography is Shoreditch, there’re many areas to shoot from that will produce a different vibe. If you need a graffiti backdrop you’ve got it via Shoreditch high street station and a Brick Lane.

If you want a cityscape background it’s also achievable via Liverpool Street, there are lovely markets stalls nearby (Spitafields market) that serve wonderful fresh food and sell luxurious clothing products.
